Thank you for your inquiry. According to the directions on the package it is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. So, three teaspoons for a six gallon batch.
For home brewing purposes to kill off yeast and other critters you add 1/2 tsp per gallon. So for 8oz you'd add 1/32 of a teaspoon.
